Even though spring is coming and you'll be spending more time outside, we still have some great apps coming your way! I don't have a spring cleaning app if you're wondering, but may I interest you in a game of Pictionary while sitting in a meadow or indoors if the snow is still falling?  If you’ve played the classic board game of guess and draw called Pictionary, you may have an idea what I’m talking about.  I know when I was younger - and even now Pictionary is still a fun game to play with everyone trying to guess what the heck you are drawing!  Sketch It is pretty similar and can be played with a buddy or just yourself online.

Sketch It is an interesting app for a Pictionary game.  There's no game board, dice, cards or game pegs involved - it's entire online and in the app.  You sign up for a name/profile and you can hop in a lobby.  There are English and German lobbies.  If it's your turn to draw, you are given a word to try and draw for people to guess.  You get three passes if you can't draw the word given.

When it's not your turn, you obviously can guess what is being drawn by the person by typing and submitting the guess. You get 14 points if you solve it first and 7 points for 2nd and subsequent places.  Do be careful though what the other people may draw.  Most of the time they draw what is given but sometimes you may get the odd nimrod being stupid, although it will censor profanity most of the time.  I've had to leave the lobby and find a different one a couple times when people are just being idiots.  You can invite a buddy that has Sketch It to play, chat, check stats and profiles for even more fun and laughs!
