Conclusion:

The Spectre Pro Blue LED 120mm Fans look great.  They are bright and really nice and quiet.  They are also very well built and strong looking thanks to the ribbed fins. The fans are really quiet even with three of them running and are well worth $14.99 for the 120mm fan.

Installing the fans was a little difficult and a long process as I had to repeat the steps three times.  This involves pulling the fan tray out of the case and detaching the front clip to get at the screws to take the fan out of the rack and then putting the new Spectre fan in its place.  Again, this is system dependent, and in my system - it sucked.  In many other cases, installation will be simple and fast.

I was really impressed with the performance of the Spectre Pro 120mm fan at 1200 RPM.  Even wide open, it is still virtually silent.  In order to hear it at all, I had to turn down all my other fans and listen closely.

I would recommend the Spectre Pro Fan to anyone that wants to improve the air flow in their system and keep things nice and quiet at the same time.  You won’t have to turn up the volume of your games or music in order to drown them out as these fans are very quiet.

Pros:

  • Looks great
  • Really quiet
  • Reasonably priced

Cons:

  • Nothing
