Android App Pick - Phase 10

Good evening! (day or morning if you're reading this on the other side of the world)!  Wherever you are, it is always awesome to have readers and fellow android fans ready to try out something new.  Have you ever needed a good card game on the go, but don’t have the table space?  Perhaps you're an only child and you're waiting at the mall for your mom's hair appointment to be done and you're bored out of your mind!  If any of these describes you, check out Phase 10!  If you've played the card game before you may be happy to know that you can now download it.  There are free and paid versions and thankfully, both are ad-free,  I prefer the paid version because the free one lets you play only a few phases.  If you’ve played the game before you may want to jump ahead to the download link, but if you've got nothing going on - or you haven't played before, keep on reading.  It's a Monday.  What else are you going to do?

Phases

The game takes you through different levels called phases.  The objects is to work your way to the 10th phase.  Each phase is different, some say you need 2 sets of 3 meaning 3 5’s and 3 7’s or 3 9’s and 3 2’s etc.  Other phases require you to have a set of 4 and a run of 4.  A set: 4 6’s and a run: 1,2,3,4 or 4,5,6,7 etc... Some phases just require runs or just a set and some will say 7 cards the same color.  Unless you're color blind then you might have problems or think you're always winning that round!

Some cards that can help are wilds.  They can act as a number.  Skip cards skip any player you choose.  You pick a card from either pile and then return one you don’t need.  When you have the cards you need just hit the play phase button and you can play your selected cards.  You can also add on to your or other players card stack once your phase is out. When you get through all the phases you are the winner!!  In case of a tie it's the lowest points wins.  While this is not a multiplayer game, they try to make it social by allowing you to post to Twitter.
