Android App Pick - Chrome Beta

The internet has been going on and around for many many years now and the way we view it has evolved a bit over the years.  More and more devices have a web browser available, including phones and tablets.  As most tech geeks or nerds do know there's always a better browser than the one a computer or device comes with.  I don’t always download a web browser, but when I do it’s to get a better one!  You may of heard of the Google Chrome browser for the desktop, well there is also an Android app called Chrome (Beta).  It only works with Ice Cream Sandwich currently, but it's a very interesting app that's different from most browsers.  Hopefully more devices move to ICS (Android 4) or Chrome gets broader device compatibility in the near future.

I don’t usually use the browser on my Android, I prefer to use Apps.  Some sites such as BibleGateway.com or BCCHardware.com don't have apps, so if you want to browse them, you still need a web browser on your phone. It seems that most data that we consume on the iPhone or Android platform comes in the form of an App or Widget.  The Chrome App (Chrome Beta) is an interesting web browser for Android.  It's interesting because it will sync with your desktop browser - if you are running the Google Chrome browser.  You sign in using your Google account.  It’ll ask you to set up your settings to your liking on your desktop and offer to import all your saved bookmarks and such from the original browser you’ve been using.  You then sign in to Chrome on your phone when it asks you to and you can start surfing it up!  Like I said before, it will sync all your bookmarks, open tabs and browsing history.  Viewing and opening tabs is quick and easy to do.  It loads fast and looks great!
