During CES 2007 we were able to make a stop at the Jabra booth. Some of you out there might not recognize the Jabra brand, or may not be familiar, but they are a major player in the Bluetooth headset market. In 2006 Jabra and GN Netcom combined to create the world's largest headset company. In 2005 GN Netcom manufactured over 25 million headsets, so they are obviously doing something right. If you have ever went searching for a Bluetooth headset for your mobile phone, then you've probably seen a Jabra product.
Today we are going to be taking a look at the Jabra BT620s Bluetooth Stereo Headset.
This review is going to be a little different from other reviews we have done here at BCCHardware, we are going to have thoughts from both myself (Jason "Fujitsu" Schneider), and later on we will have some testing and thoughts from Benjamin "Zeus" Heide. We both had the same products and hopefully we can provide two different viewpoints into this product.
What's in the Box:
In true Jabra form, you get everything you need to get this product up and running on different platforms with different situations.
- Jabra BT620s Bluetooth Stereo Headset
- Illustrated user manual
- AC power supply
- USB Cable
- 2 extra ear cushions
Jabra includes a USB cable that can be used to connect the headset to a computer to charge the battery. When connected with the USB cable, the headset can also double as a wired USB headset for computers that do not have Bluetooth capability. That feature alone gives this headset some extra life as it is useful for more than one application.
