Introduction:
The first thing that most people change when they are building or buy a new computer is the stock CPU cooling. There are a ton of brands on the market today that feature better performance than the cooler that came bundled with your CPU. Today we are going to take a look at the Freezer 7 Pro from Arctic Cooling.
Arctic Cooling is one of the big names in PC Cooling, and have produced many very nice CPU/VGA/Case cooling products. The Freezer 7 Pro that I am going to take a look at today is one of their Socket 775 coolers.
Let's see how this cooler performs....

First Impressions:
I've used other Arctic Cooling GPU cooling products in the past, so I was pretty sure I knew what I was getting myself into. The first thing I noticed was that this cooler was pretty light (260g), the quality of the cooler is also pretty obvious, this unit looks like it's built for the long-haul.
As you can see from the pictures below, this is a nice and beefy cooler, especially when compared to the stock cooling.
When you compare stock cooling to the Freezer 7 Pro, it's no surprise that it will be able to be quieter and provide better cooling, the stock cooling is definitely slimmer, but in most cases anymore, you have a little extra room anyways.
