Samsung has made many products over the years, and they seem to stretch back into the early dawn of man. Okay, maybe not quite that long, but let’s say somewhere in the 20th century they’ve made things from computers to phones, mp3 players you name it in the age of technology - Samsung has probably made several models. The 8G P3 Media Player is a touch screen media player that allows you to scroll through with a touch of a finger. If you’re a Bluetooth fan you’re in luck, because it will work for wireless audio as well as file transfer.

There is not too much to explain but what I can say as we venture in the box of wonder?  Here it is Samsung fans: earphones, earphone pads for comfort, USB cord to charge and load files onto the P3, instructions manual and the 8G Samsung P3 Media Player itself, which we will be talking about most throughout the review.

Taking A Look:

When viewing the P3, some may mistake it for a touch screen phone from a distance, but once you get up and personal with it you notice that it’s not. What you do notice is that there isn’t any buttons and such on the sides, but there is a couple on the ends of the P3. One end you’ve got your earphone jack, a reset button which is also says mic for voice rec. Also has a USB slot to connect your USB cable to charge it or download content.  At the other end of the P3 you’ve got the hold button which also acts as the on/off switch. There are volume controls and also a built in speaker so you can listen earphone free!

Menu Navigation:

Menu navigation on this thing is quite easy I found, since it’s a touch screen you’re using your fingers. Simply just slide your finger across the screen to view the next set of icons for your choice of choosing on the other pages. Touch the item to choose it and the chosen one will take you to it. Once you’re in, surfing your way around this sucker picking and choosing your pictures or music, or whatever it’s easy. If you want to go back to the previous menu, touch the screen, and an arrow will show in the bottom left corner for you. It will also take you all the back to the home page for a different icon, but if you just want to get back home quick then Samsung has included a go home button. Again touch the screen but at the top this time 2x and a mini menu appears. The one shaped like a house is the fast and quick way to get home.
