Introduction:

Today we'll be taking a look at the ZOWIE GEAR G-TF Speed pad gaming mouse pad. ZOWIE GEAR started in late 2008 with the goal of making the best gaming gear from keyboards, mouse pads, headsets, mice and even "Speedy Skates" - stick on mouse feet for less friction and more speed. ZOWIE GEAR is a company that manufactures inexpensive competitive gaming gear made by gamers for gamers.

First look:

The ZOWIE GEAR G-TF Speed pad comes rolled up in a tall flat grey box. The box design is clean and it makes you want to open it up and see whats inside.

After taking out the Speed pad and unrolling it, I was amazed at the size. It measures 440 x 320 x 2 mm / 17.3 x 12.6 x 0.08 inch.  Another thing that I found impressive was the finish on the top, bottom and edges. The gaming surface is tightly woven material that is ultra smooth. The bottom is a non-slip rubber material and the edges are triple stitched. My first thought is that this is a high quality gaming surface. Now lets test this bad boy.
