Xbox - Not Just for Gaming

According to an article at CNET, Xbox is used for gaming about half of the time.  Typical usage is about 84 hours a month and over half of that is spent watching videos and listening to music.  That means that Microsoft gets it.  They know how to market a console.  Too bad they can't figure out how to market a phone or a tablet.

Microsoft has been dramatically increasing the amount of non-gaming content available to Xbox Live users. Last year, the company launched a major update to its dashboard, delivering programming from a host of providers, including ESPN, Hulu Plus, and others. Over the last several months, other services have brought their content to the Xbox 360.
