Hey app users, it's clear by our weather that spring is coming!  Finally we have no snow - the grass is turning green and the sunny days are sweeping some of those clouds away.  Our dog sleds are away and we've put our running shoes on.  Make sure you keep you're virtual running shoes handy as you're gonna need them as you download and play Temple Run.  This is a very addicting and fun game that allows you to collect points for total domination.  This was advertised on Google Play.  I saw it and thought that it didn’t look very interesting and wondered if it would be fun to play.  I didn’t download it until then suggested from a teen at youth group on the way home from a youth event.  I tried it out and found that my judgment was wrong - it's pretty fun indeed!

 
Temple Run

Temple Run doesn't have levels like some games do - instead you gain score by how far you get - much like Unicorn Dash.  You start off running out from a temple, being chased by monkeys (think King Kong's mini-me).  With your running shoes on and your hair gripped tight you collect gold color diamonds that are like coins that give you points to fill up a yellow bar for extra points.

As you go further you get different paths to run on and also challenges to jump over tree stumps in the way and gaps in the path.  He is already running for you - your job is to gather coins and stay alive by swiping up to jump, swiping left or right to turn accordingly.  Swiping down lets you slide under bridges and such, and tilting your phone or tablet will have him move to the side to gather coins as well. The more coins you gather the easier it will be to get power ups at the Temple store.  You can makes this social by being able to post your score online through twitter to brag to your buddies and give them a run for it!
