Google developing their own Siri

Even though Siri hasn't really taken off like Apple was expecting, its still causing the competition to come up with equivalent programs and Google is the latest to be working on a Siri replacement. It will be interesting to see what Google comes up with since there are already Siri-clones like S-Voice from Samsung and Evi. NBC has the story.

Even though Siri is technically still in "beta," its introduction is having a ripple effect on Apple's rivals — namely Google. The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Google is scrambling to build its own voice assistant for Android devices.

According to the Wall Street Journal:

"Google, meanwhile, has accelerated plans to launch its own Siri competitor that would work on Android-powered devices, people familiar with the matter have said."
