Crucial @ CES 2013

We had the chance to stop by and see what Crucial has in store for 2013. Crucial is very excited to be showing off some new products at CES 2013 and have officially announced them today (Thursday).

One of the biggest announcements is their new Crucial M500 SSD lineup which will improve on the previous M4 model. The 2.5” models of the M500 will have a 120, 240, 480, and 960GB model. Yes, you read that correctly, the M500 will have a 960GB version. Even more amazing than the 960GB capacity is the fact that this drive will launch with a sub-$600 dollar price tag making it very affordable for a large amount of storage.

Crucial was also showing off some of their DDR4 Ram that they are currently working on. DDR4 is still a ways off before it hits the mainstream consumer market but Crucial is very proud of the fact that they are already capable of producing functioning DDR4 memory and will be ready for the launch of DDR4 later in 2013.
