Good day and I hope you had a Happy Hanukkah. This may be a good night to be a knight and show up in your best shining armour. This week our App Pick will have you protecting your Kingdom from all sorts of crazy stuff. There are spiders, bats, giants and maybe even some bad, nasty honey badgers! Oh my! If you like tower defense games, Kingdom Rush is pretty fun and worth buying! You won’t want to put your device down!

Kingdom Rush, like most tower defense games, requires that you set up types of towers and barricades to crush down the enemy. Each level brings in a new enemy to try and beat as well as new upgrades to your towers. You have towers with archers, a mage tower, cannons popping out fireballs (artillery) and infantry towers with guards that come out to battle the enemy. As you get further in the game you unlock different heros that can help fight. As the game goes on you can send out two knights anytime the knight icon is filled. Same with the meteor icon, but that takes longer to charge up. It does some serious damage though when you bring the rain! As you kill enemies you get coins in game and this allows you to place more towers, upgrade and or get more bonus weapons!
