Atten-hut! March one two three, left, left, left right left… It's 2014 and I’m still here, and I hope you had a great New Year. I’m back in 2014 and am writing up some more great apps for all you Android fans. Sound off 1, 2, 3, 4! If you know you your history well, you might know about that epic battle recorded in history - D-Day. That's where the Allies stormed the beach in Normandy. Everyone wanted to take out the Germans. I haven't picked a shooter game for an Android App Pick as I’m typically picky about how and where I play FPS games. I'm not much of a console shooter, but give me a noob tube and a PC, and I can kick some butt. Frontline Commando: D-Day can be played on your Android device and it looks great on a Tegra 3 powered tablet!

If you're into FPS shooters this may interest you! I think I would classify it as a combination of third-person and first-person shooter as you switch between views when you aim down the sights. When in 3rd person view, you are running and moving to cover. At these times, when you shoot, the view is over-the-shoulder. Tap or swipe up for your soldier to jump over obstacles so you don't run into them like a noob (Zeus). As you play each mission, shooting down the enemies that pop up, you get higher in rank and get to try different weapons as you go!
