Introduction:
Smartphones and mobile devices are becoming more powerful and useful at an incredible rate. It seems that every generation of mobile product is leaps and bounds ahead of the past one, but one thing that doesn't increase at the same rate are the batteries that power these devices. At this point, I often will do a service call for a company using only a tablet or my smartphone, but unfortunately the battery life of these products can become an issue if they are required to be used for extended periods with the screens on.
There are an unbelievable number of different portable power solutions on the market today, and some of them are super bulky and others are very slim - but don't offer a lot of additional power. The Lepow Moonstone tries to offer a little something extra with design style and a different esthetic that sets it apart from the thousand other powerbank devices on the market.. With a battery capacity of 6000mAh, it should be able to charge your 2000mAh phone up to three times. Of course your mileage will vary depending on your devices battery and charge level. Still this is a great capacity as it isn't very heavy and the build should fit nicely in your gadget bag.

Lepow has a few different power banks that offer more portability and some large ones that should be able to keep a single device going for more than a week. As I said earlier, I think the 6000mAh Moonstone is pretty close to the sweet spot as it has a nice rounded shape and slips easily into a jacket pocket or a bag.

What the specifications don't tell you is that in addition to the two USB ports on the device, it also includes a flat Micro-USB cable that can be used to charge the Moonstone as well as flipped around and used to charge your devices.
