Why not use a handy dandy app to plan stuff out? Try Homestyler Interior Design - not only is it fun to build your own rooms, it is also handy to plan out what you’re looking for in a room or out on the patio. If you're a homeowner, decorator, builder or just moving into your new home and need some ideas before spending way too much money on something you really don’t like, then you need to try out this app. You can even have fun with it if you're not moving to a new home. I certainly was having fun with it!

It is quite simple to use once, but it may take a few minutes of playing around with it to fully understand what you can do. You can take a picture of the room you’re planning on modifying. It’s best to take a picture of a room with few furnishings so you can place items easier. You can also upload a picture of a room previously taken or use some nice templates that are available. You can create almost anything you want, so dream big! Each item used tells you where and what store it can be purchased from. It also gives you alternative suggestions in case what you had originally planned to buy is sold out in the real store. In that case you can delete the item and add a new coffee table or recliner instead. Save your design and ideas and you can continue later.

I did notice that there are times when items take a while to load. When picking an item the page may blank out for a few seconds but if you’re patient it will load. The app did crash a couple of times when items weren’t moving properly, but the auto save is golden and allows it to still make our App Pick of the Week. It is pretty fun and very handy!
Can you decorate it? Yes you can!!
