Android App Pick - SuperGNES Lite (SNES Emulator)
Application: SuperGNES Lite (SNES Emulator)
Hey you 80’s and 90’s kids! I’m more of a 90’s kid but I was born the last year on the 80’s. My 80’s experience included everything you’d expect a one-year old to do. Much has changed since then - and the video-game era really started to grow since Nintendo pulled it back out of the despair caused by the game crash in 1983. While I never owned a new SNES system, I did own one that my family picked up at a yard sale. I’m pretty excited that these classic games live on with emulators, so make sure to check out the SuperGNES Lite (SNES Emulator). Let the good times roll - again!
I was surfing through the Play Store this past week and was in an old-school-game mood, so I took a look at what was available. Not all emulators are created equal and there are some pretty bad ones out there that crash a lot of have quite a few bugs. This SNES emulator is pretty cool and it will allow you to play some pretty awesome Nintendo Classics including everyone’s favorites: Mario, Donkey Kong, Zelda, Kirby and much more. It’s pretty cool! The controls show up on the screen and it can be viewed either horizontally or vertically. Press your “soft” menu button and you will have access to the settings menu where you can tweak the emulator to your liking. To get games you hit the SD Card icon to check and then it will take you to a website that you can download games to your device. You can even save your game progress as you go!
Check out this video for a much better description about how to set it up. In the meantime, keep calm and SNES on!
