Android App Pick - CloudCube

Application: CloudCube

Happy Victoria Day! Here in Canada, this is our May long weekend and it has been great! Many of you may have taken advantage of the camping season and some of you would rather stay home. If you camp like Zeus, and always try to stay within cell range, you may want to try out Cloud Cube. If you have files saved in the cloud that you want to share, you’ll be able to access them all with this app. You can’t actually edit documents natively in Cloud Cube, but it is a great way to download, upload and view all your cloud storage in one place.

Cloud Cube isn’t just another one of those separate storage apps that takes up extra space on your device. Even without the separate storage apps for Dropbox, Box, Skydrive (OneDrive) and more – you will still be able to log in to Cloud Cube and access your files. With Cloud Cube you add your cloud storage accounts that are in the list. The app will then update and synchronize your files and show how much space you have for each storage account. It finds and puts your files in one spot as Cloud Cube is simply the portal to access all of your data from each of these services.

You can add and view documents on the fly as well as search for specific files. It will pull up any files from any of your cloud accounts that matches the search criteria. It doesn't allow you to add Box at this point on my device. There are a few bugs, but this app shows a lot of promise! Overall, it is a great idea and works pretty well. It’s pretty handy and that’s why it makes our App Pick of the Week.

What are you syncing about?
