Welcome to another week of App Pick! Summer is here and so is the hot weather. It’s a good time to head to the beach, the pool or to have a picnic in the park. If you are spending a relaxing day, why not bring your tablet or phone along and bring a family game with you on with Boggle Free . It’s a classic word game that goes way back. It’s a favorite of my mom’s and the very first word game I played. Put the cover on, shake up the letters and set the two minute timer as you scramble to jot down as many words as you can.

Boggle Free is a digital version of Boggle. It is still the same concept as the original, but the digital version has a few extra game modes. The main mode is “quick play” where you have a two minutes speed round against the clock. In the “Extra Modes” section you’ll find a few choices as well as some custom modes. Scenario mode also has some challenges, but Pass n’ Play is great as you can take your two-minute turn and then pass the device to who you are challenging so they can take their best shot. Challenge a friend, earn achievements and get shaking! Swipe your way to victory!
