Good App Pick day! Ok, so I lied about App Pick of the Week being 3 years next week. I took a look at the publish date of our first App Pick and it so turns out that it will be on Canadian Thanksgiving! Stay tuned and keep reading for a chance to win a $50 Google Play card! In the meantime, you can check out this week’s pick that will take you back to when you were a kid playing a board game called Battleship. Get ready to battle up and load out your ships virtually. Yes, that is right, you’re going to need a boat to be out at sea! This game has a slight twist on the original and it makes it a lot more fun. We’re taking a look at Sea Battle.

Sea Battle has your classic battleship hit and miss markers and you can play against a buddy or the computer. The advanced mode adds some surprises that makes this game more fun! After you set your boats on the grid, you get to pick some extra ammunition, radar and bombs to drop on your opponent! Airstrikes, bombers, nukes and these radars come in handy if your enemy doesn’t have anything to shoot them down. You can use in-game money you’ve earned to buy as many power-ups as you can.

You can connect via Bluetooth, over a Wi-Fi connection and even play with others on the web in addition to single-player against your phone. It’s all or nothing out at sea.
