Oh the weather outside is frightful, and the apps are sure delightful and since there’s no place to go, download and play in the store! We can get snow bound in the app store if you don’t know what apps are any good and that’s where we come in. Winter has come to our land (up north) and while we do have more time to kill, bad apps suck. This week’s app is awesome.

As most of North America observes Remembrance Day or Veterans Day, make sure you take time and think about those people that served and continue to serve your country. As you remember, also try and plan strategy, conquer and destroy with Tower Dwellers from Noodlecake Studios Inc.

Tower Dwellers is not a hard core game or even that graphic in its violence. Your biggest concern is to keep enemies from getting past your defense system. This is a tower defense game with a bit of a twist. You build your tower and kill the enemies that come as usual, but you also must build support in order to equip your soldiers. Other than upgrading your tower, you can build other things such as blacksmith, wizard houses and archers. Those support units can be shared with other towers that are close. An in game encyclopedia lets you know about the heroes you’ve made and the enemies you are fighting in the game.
