Netgear @ CES 2016

Today we stopped by Netgear and got the full tour of their new products for 2016. Netgear has been busy and have come up with some great new additions to their product lineups.

On the home router front, the Nighthawk routers have been very popular for Netgear thanks to the great features and performance they offer. Netgear is expanding this lineup to include the Nighthawk X4S AC2600, Nighthawk X6 AC3200, and the Nighthawk X8 AC5300. The X4S and the X8 both have won "Best of CES 2016" awards which Netgear is obviously very happy about. With these new additions to the Nighthawk lineup, Netgear is giving consumers a ton of options when it comes to their home networking needs. The Nighthawk routers are extremely "feature-rich" and as more and more features continue to be added to new models like the X4S and the X8, Netgear is also making sure that with a simple firmware update you'll be able to add these software features to older Nighthawk routers which is nice to see.

Netgear is also showing off their full lineup of ReadyNAS devices at CES 2016. Netgear has quite the extensive lineup of NAS devices that range from 2-bay home devices all the way up to devices that are build for business use. Basically Netgear has a device for everyone and you should be able to find one that fits your needs very easily. The very cool thing about all of the ReadyNAS devices is that even the devices at the low end of the product range all have high end features like Netgears ReadyCLOUD which allows you to access and share your data as easily as services like Google Drive and Dropbox but allows you way more flexibility and control and won't take a technology degree to setup. There are a lot of options in the NAS market but Netgear has done a great job bringing a full lineup of affordable devices to market that still have great features. You can check out some of Netgear's NAS devices over here at their website.

Netgear has also made additions to their home networking lineup with some new powerline networking devices, new cable modems, and a whole bunch of smart home products. If you'd like to see some more pictures from our visit to Netgear, check out our CES 2016 photo gallery.
