Introduction:
Back in December we took at a look at the Firefly Bluetooth Music Receiver that is designed to plug into your vehicle and bring Bluetooth to your non-wireless stereo. It worked very well and has multiple applications and can even link two together for a Party Mode. Fast forward a little over a month and we now have the CLIP from Tunai Creative. This is their solution to help you transition from a device with a headset jack to a jack-less phone that seems to be the way of the future. The beautiful thing about the CLIP is that you can take any of your wired headphones and suddenly give them wireless connectivity. I really like this idea as I have several pairs of nice headphones, but sometimes a wired connection to my phone is a little cumbersome. We'll find out how well the CLIP works and if it is in fact the answer we've been looking for, or if it is just another gadget that will end up in the drawer.
CLIP Box
The name implies that this is a headphone amplifier and I guess in some ways it's true. The real deal is that it is a Bluetooth receiver that has a stereo jack. Also integrated with the CLIP is a Bluetooth microphone to give you full headset capabilities - with any wired headphones. Even if you don't have a wired headset, the CLIP will capture the microphone audio and then provide headphone audio via Bluetooth as well. It's a nifty idea and if it works as well as the Firefly, Tunai could just have another winner on their hands.
There really isn't much included with the CLIP - but that's the beauty of it. It's dead simple.
CLIP Bundle
Included in the package we find a short MicroUSB cable that is used to charge the CLIP. Other than that, there is a warranty card and a small user manual.

I'm quite interested to see how well it works and if the audio quality is as good as they say. Overall, that will be pretty subjective, but we'll take a closer look at the device on the next page and share our thoughts.
