Introduction:

Today we have a quick look at the P1 Power Sport Watch from iwown. This little watch has a lot to offer in the way of features and keeps up with the Jones’ when it comes to sensors. It has a built-in GPS, heart rate sensor, ECG detect is water-resistant to 50 meters and claims to have a long battery life. With all the sensors and such, I don’t expect it to last much more than a day, but time will tell as we continue below.

The display is plenty bright and for most use I have the brightness set at 2 out of 8 and it works very well. Speaking of display, it has a mere 240x240 resolution and is capacitive touch-sensitive. There isn’t much for specifications on the manufacturers site, so we’ll take a quick look around the product and then share some thoughts.

Bundle

The main controls are simple. You have touch screen input that includes swiping up, down, left and right as well as touching to select. If you need physical buttons there are three that will help you navigate through the menus and settings. Up and down are located on the left side, with a select button on the right. Navigation is straightforward and there is nothing mystical about the settings, features or data that the P1 logs.

App Support:

The iwown FIT app for Android is very well thought out and easy to use. It’s robust and features all the data and logging that we’ve come to expect from fitness trackers.
