Introduction:
It wasn't long ago when I was installing my first 1GB hard drive and thinking to myself "How will I ever fill this?", now I'm installing a new Hitachi 1TB drive and thinking the same thing, and probably in a couple years and I'm testing a 500TB drive or something massive I can think the same thing all over again.
Today we are going to look at the new Hitachi Deskstar 7k1000 1 Terabyte drive, this hard drive boasts a ton of storage space, but also has a 32MB cache, which should help out the performance of this drive. Let's see how this compares to other drives.

First Impressions:
Well my first impressions were: "This looks like most hard drives I've ever seen", that's pretty much it, its nothing too special looking, but we're not going to really worry about the looks of this drive, we want to see how it performs.
