Introduction:
The funny thing with a GPS is its one of those gadgets that everyone thinks would be really handy to have, but it seems like few people actually have purchased one. Every time you get lost and literally have no clue where you are, and undoubtedly are running late, is when you really wish you had your very own GPS, and that's where the Mio DigiWalkers are going to come to your rescue.
Both of the GPS units we are reviewing are from Mio, and come from their DigiWalker series. The H610 is more aimed at the ultra-portable market, while the C220s is more aimed at the person who wants to leave it in their car, but still likes to be able to take it with them easily if they choose.
Mio Digiwalker C220s - Closer Look
The C220s is a bigger unit, and has a nice big touchscreen, and would be very nice to have mounted in a vehicle. Compared to the H610 the C220s is a bit bigger, but still should be easily portable. The C220 is the US version that has the US maps preloaded (No Canadian Maps), there is also a C220s unit (Which is the version we reviewed) that is identical but has Canadian maps preloaded, as well as major US Highways.
Mio Digiwalker H610 - Closer Look
The H610 is an ultra-portable unit designed for the traveler who wants to take it with them everywhere. As you can see in the below pictures this unit is approximately the same size as a deck of cards, and can easily slip into a pocket with no problems.
