AMD Phenom 9500 and 9600 Testing (Synthetic Benchmarks):

In the SuperPi benchmark we saw a small improvement from the 9500 to the 9600. If you refer back to the review of the Intel Quad-Core QX6700 we did a while back, you will notice that the Intel Quad-Core put up some pretty impressive numbers compared to the Phenom. You also need to keep in mind that the Intel Quad-Core QX6700 still retails for over $600 dollars CDN, while the Phenom X4 line of CPU's has an estimated MSRP of under $300 USD.

SuperPi (All results in seconds) - (Lower is Better)

For the SiSoft Sandra Arithmetic testing the Phenom X4 put up some decent numbers, and if you refer back to our Intel QX6700 review you will see the QX6700 comes out on top in this test also.

SiSoft Sandra XIIc - Higher is Better

For our Cinebench testing there was a noticeable difference between the CPU's and overclocking also affected the performance. You can also refer back to our Intel Quad-Core QX6700 review for a comparison to the Intel Quad-Core.
