After I reviewed the Plexwriter Premium, I was very excited to get a chance to review Plextor's DVD+R drive, the PX-504A. In my opinion, the Premium was the most feature packed and solid burner I'd ever laid my eyes/hand or any other appendage on, so it was with high hopes that I took at look at this next drive. I've had this drive in the test system for over a month now, so this review is based not only on a few hours of benchmarking, but also on a month of regular use, both with CDR's CDRW's, DVD+R's, DVD+RW's as well as Pressed CD Media, and DVD-Videos. I'd like to thank Plextor for trusting me with another one of their drives. |

Plextor has long had a name of quality Optical Drives. They are labeled "The King" by many when it comes to CD Burning. They are relatively new to the DVD+R market so it should be interesting to see how they are now, and how far they will go in the next few years. | |
