Aeneon XTune DDR3-1600 Mhz Memory - Comparison:
This next section is the part where we are going to find how this kit of Aeneon DDR3-1600 Mhz memory stacks up against other DDR3 on the market.
Sisoft Sandra Comparison Testing:
For all of this testing, I will be comparing this memory to some other DDR3 memory we have tested in the past. For more information on each set of memory, please refer to the links below which go to our full review of each set of memory.
- Aeneon XTune 2GB DDR3 -1333 Mhz
- Crucial Ballistix 2GB DDR3-12800 (1600 Mhz)
- Super Talent Project X 2GB DDR3 - 1800 Mhz

Running at stock speeds of 9-9-9-24 the Aeneon was able to keep up with the previous kit of Aeneon DDR3 as well as the Crucial Ballistix, even though the Crucial was able to run at lower timings, the performance was still about the same and even a bit better in most testing. The Super Talent memory was the winner in most testing, however it was running at some pretty low latencies, so it's not too surprising. It is surprising though to see how well the Aeneon did and how it was able to keep up in higher speed testing. For example at 1700 Mhz, the Super Talent memory was running at 7-7-7-21, while the Aeneon was running at 9-9-9-24, yet the results were almost identical (a difference of 1 point!).

The testing was pretty much identical to the previous test, the Aeneon was able to keep pace with the others, and the performance was very close between the Aeneon and the Super Talent DDR3.
