ASRock P45R2000-WiFi Motherboard Final Conclusion:

ASRock might not be a household name, but yet again in our testing we've found their product to be top notch. The ASRock P45R2000-WiFi board is a winner, and when comparing it to the ASRock X48TurboTwins board that we recently took a look at, they were very similar performance-wise, with both boards performing very well and making our job testing them almost too easy. I was hoping to be able to crown a winner between the two boards, but in most of our testing the differences between the two were very, very small and during normal use you'd never notice a difference, so I guess you have to decide if you're a fan of the P45 or X48 chipset when deciding between these two boards. I'm assuming that the biggest deciding factor if you were to choose between these two boards would be price, if you were able to get either one cheaper at your favorite retailer than the other you'd probably be happy with either one.

Once again I was very happy with the stability of this board, much like I was with the X48TurboTwins. In all my testing I never once had anything go wonky, and even during overclocked testing everything ran like it was supposed to, even while running for extended periods of time. I guess if I had to sum up the stability of this board in one word, it would be "Solid".

This is the section where I would write all the things that didn't work properly, or I didn't like about the P45R2000-WiFi. However, just like the ASRock X48TurboTwins board, there isn't much to mention in this section, it's a solid board and worked like advertised.

At the end of the day if you're looking for a good motherboard based on the P45 chipset, the ASRock P45R2000 board is a winner. The stability of this board is great, the price is affordable, and it makes the P45R2000-WiFi a great choice for a user who wants high-end product without the high-end price. The performance between the P45 and X48 chipsets are very similar, and in the end I felt it only fitting to award the ASRock P45R2000-WiFi the same score as the ASRock X48TurboTwins board, both of which were easily able to score our "Top Pick" award.

  • Very Affordable Price
