XBOX 360 Price Drop
Microsoft has finally announced a price drop on the XBOX 360 - coincidentally just after Sony dropped the price on the PS3 and released a new "Slim".  Who wins? Consumers.

For those of you that don't live in the frozen waste-land we call Canada - Curling is explained here.

Sony eBook Reader has Free Library Checkouts.
Amazon and the Kindle have been the leader in the eBook marketplace over the past year, but Sony isn't content to let them walk away with a win.  Sony's own eBook readers have been gaining popularity in terms of compatibility with multiple formats and now they include Library checkouts.  This could be amazing to have all your textbooks on a single device as well.

Exploding iPhone is not Apples Fault (but it still iHurts)
If it's not Apple's fault that their iPhone 3GS units are starting to burn up and/or explode, who's fault is it?  Maybe they should have done a little more R&D on cooling all 5 wireless radios before they released this.  End of the day, don't use your iPhone if it is iHot outside.

Sonim XP1 Toughphone explodes after being shot with a shotgun.  How'd you like that next to your face?

China gets the iPhone.
Although the iPhone will be available in Canada, it will be crippled in some ways to comply with the strange laws in China.  It seems that WiFi is the main issue with the phone in China.

The Opposite of Twitter - Woofer requires 1,400 character minimum
In the never-ending social media world we live in a new idea has taken shape.  If you can't stand the 140 character maximum limit of Twitter, you may love the minimum 1,400 character restriction of Woofer.  It sounds like it was created as a joke, but it is an interesting idea for 14 year old girls.

Phone turns on Gas Oven.
Some signal received by the phone apparently seems to turn on the oven.  This happened not just once, but is a repeatable occurrence and you have to be careful what you put in the oven when your phone rings.

18 Cool Things That Windows 7 Does that Vista Doesn't
While many critics may say that Windows 7 is what Vista should have been, it is more than a service pack.  There are a lot of new features that make this the "best OS" yet from Microsoft.  I like the media streaming feature.

Upcoming BCCHardware features:
Sunbeamtech UV Tech Station
ASRock P45X3 Deluxe Motherboard
Trendnet Travel Router

Apple claiming that exploding iPhones is ridiculous; they are fooling no one and their rep could not be called into question.

One feature I like about W7 is the ability to maximize a windows by snapping it to the edge of the desktop. Another neat one if the "shake" feature.

With Sony's PS3 price drop I can see Microsoft losing a good chunk of the console market share.
