Who wants more RAM?! (http://www.bcchardware.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=4703&Itemid=56)
BCCHardware and Crucial are proud to bring you the October RAM Fest! This month's contest is for 2GB of Crucial Ballistix Tracer PC2-6400 ***. This is some pretty slick RAM that runs fast, and ads some serious bling to your PC.
This contest is for Canadians only - in response to the USA only "Talk like a Pirate" contest hosted by Crucial last month. We asked them if they'd sponsor a contest for my fellow Canadians and they have come through.
How can you win? Here's the lowdown:
1. You must be a resident of Canada.
2. To enter you must find a Crucial emblazoned BCCHardware case.
3. Send a the page link (URL) to bcchardware@gmail.com with your name and mailing address.
4. Post in the forum in this thread when you've found it (don't post where, just that you found it - you can try and lead others astray. . .)
Good luck!
-
Woohoo! Take that our American friends ;D
Oh, and the logo isn't too hard to find. Good luck and thanks Crucial & BCCHardware! ;)
-
I didn't want to make it stupid hard. We though of hiding a 20px * 10px mini banner, but that would be just plain mean. . .

Maybe you could put something like that, but just for fun. ;)

This contest is for forum members isn't it?

You need to be a forum member to complete step 4, so I guess its just for forums members, lol

Welcome, all of you to BCCHardware that have joined for this contest. It's good to see other Canadians are around and reading the web!
Don't forget to send that email to bcchardware@gmail.com with the page link (other than contest page) where you found the image/logo!!

Done and done.

Congrats to nICK rIVIERA - Winner of the 2GB DDR2!!!
-
Grats Nick! Put it to good use! :)
-
congrats!!!! use it well ;)
-
Congrats Nick :)
So did Nick claim his prize?
-
Yup. That's why it is announced. Until the winner claims the prize they are not announced publicly. That way, if they don't win we will offer it to someone else. It saves arguments. Why Slug? Were you hoping to squeeze in there for a runner up? heh
-
Trust me folks, this RAM kicks a$$. You can't go wrong when you have Crucial memory in your system. :D

Just wondering because winners usually post a thank you message in contest threads after they've won.
-
Nick is just ungrateful, lol
While nick might not post often, he's been around for all the BCC events over the years so I guess we can't give him too hard of a time
-
That's nICK rIVIERA the 4 post noob ::)
-
Yup, he posts once a year, its all about consistency
But he's probably been to 8 of our lan parties, I guess for every two lan parties he attends he post once
-
According to my stats, my total time logged in is 1 hours and 37 minutes.
When do I win something? :D
-
Hopefully you'll win something in the next contest (no word on what that is just yet). Until then, you've got a ways to go - I'm up to: 25 days, 16 hours and 9 minutes.
heh. If you come to our March LAN event, you'll probably win something then! In March this year we gave out over $3,000 worth of prizes!
