The RULES, Please read before you post.
« on: January 21, 2003, 01:32:45 PM »
There are some simple rules you need to know before posting in these forums.

1) Subject lines should reflect the body of the post, and cannot contain any cussing.

2) NO Spamming.  Spamming is characterized by the initiation of threads or posts that contribute nothing to a forum, be it off topic or on topic. Examples include: empty bodies, bodies with few words that have no relation to the current thread or discussion and those
posts that state they are spam, either to annoy or increase a member's post count. This determination is made by the forum Moderator or Administrator and is not up for discussion.

3) No posts that encourage illegal activities.  This includes pornography, piracy of software, or hacking.

4) No links to sites with inapproprate content.  This includes sites that promote illegal activity, pornography, and hate sites.

5) Respect the privacy of other members.  This means always using a member's forum name not ever a real name.  Also no posting of addresses or phone numbers.

6) Post on topic. If you don't have anything meaningfull to contribute to a particular thread, don't post at all.

7) Respect custom avatars.  We are allowing custom avatars because we believe that our members are responsible enough not to abuse this privilege.  This means no avatars that are pornographic, offensive, hatefull, or generally annoying. This means no avatars that FLASH as it can be hard on the eyes.

8) Do not put pictures in your signature.  The signature must display as text only.

9) If you are a long standing member of this forum, act like it.  We need our veterans to provide a good example to those people new to this board.

10) No personal attacks against other members of this forum for any reason. If you have a problem with a particular member's activity, Private Message or email the moderator or admin of the forum.

11) Don't swear.  The english language has a sufficient number of adjectives and adverbs to adequately express your intentions, there is no need to swear.

12) BCC forum reserves the right to change or add to these rules at any time. It is the responsiblity of the members to check this page for changes.

13) Resect both moderators and administrators, they are there to make sure that this board stays an informative source of information and a respected place to exchange knowledge.

14) Have fun.  This forum is here to be a source of information to the community, about the community.  Lets keep it that way.

Life is a toilet.  As soon as you get caught up, someone flushes you again.
