I've just picked up a APC 1000VA UPS.  It's replaced a PowMax 1400VA UPS.  APC kills the PowMax.

Got myself a NV Silencer 5 RV2 Cooler for my 6800GT works really well.  Idles temps dropped about 3-4C but my full load temps dropped 10-12C.  Only real problem is stupid thing was so big had to move around things in computer to make it fit.  Also picked up a set of Plantronics headset the sound quality is much better then my old logitechs.

Got a Dell DJ 20 gig MP3 portable MP3 player through my Employee Purchase Plan.  This thing reminds me alot of what an IPOD is like without the need for Itunes.

I just picked up a Palm Tungsten T5.  This thing has WiFi & Bluetooth as well as a 320x480 screen that works both portrait and landscape.  It is the 256MB version and has a 416MHz Intel Xscale processor.  While I'd prefer something that runs on Windows Mobile or CE, the price was incredible.  I got this new in box with full warranty at a large electronics chain for $109CDN.  It lists on their website for $499.

I aksed the guy if the price was wrong, and he said that it lists on the tag and in their system, so he was selling them at that price.  Right place right time I guess.

I just got a New Antec True Power 550W not the best True power on the market but i HAve no need for the V2.0 as i don't use PCI-E or 24pin connector. I can now game without loosing all my video, stupid Generaric 500W got killed when i Installed my BFG 6600GT and the A64 system. But The Antec is very very quiet and I have 0 complaints or regrets about the purchase.

holy crap, I just realized I never posted this, was having so much fun playing with it for the last month I forgot all about posting it.

I picked up a Compaq v2305 notebook

Sempron 3000+
512 ram
60 GB Hard Drive
DVD/CDRW Combo Drive
Wireless 802.11G
ATI Radeon x200 Integraded 128 MB Graphics
14.1" Brightview Widescreen Display

It had 2 x 256 MB ram, I plopped one out and dropped in a crucial 1 GB stick, bringing it to 1.2 GB ram.

She flies, a real beauty for a total of $1100 ( $900 for notebook at bestbuy, $180 for ram at memexpress). Won't play any games, but awsome for photoshop and web design work.... maybe a little wardriving    .

I wont even start listing the accessories I blew money on, everything from a second wireless NIC, cause the integrated didnt work under linux, to the bag, headphones, the list is stupid long.

Ordered up a Dell 3100cn color laser printer today.  The good news is, if it breaks I can fix it myself, and the majority of the problems we experience with these printers at work is user error anyway.

Anyone need a HP laserjet 1000 with pretty much full toner?  :D
