Topic: Feb 1st match and for future Match Nights

Due to the lack of Team DC not showing up ( total of 5 ppl for one map and then down to 4 for the last 2 maps) Team DC has to forfeit this match giving the win to BCC.
Team DC was given the option to play or forfeit.

if you can't show up for the match from now on. you will either play short or forfeit.
The ppl that did show up for tonights match played 3 maps and the stats from those maps were recorded.
thurs night will be a fun night again!

Guys i wanna clear up some miscommunication that I've heard.

1. the matches are stricly for fun. some of us make up strategy to try and give us an edge. but all said and done.. its just for fun.
2. the stats that are in the game page are stricly for your reference only. we're not trying to show who the best or worst players are, or who's better then who. its not a contest.
3. we are in the process of trying to add other things to the game for fun as well. ie. like ingame awards and such. just something that we thought might add to the experience.

we are not trying to mke this competitive in any way, nor are we actual clans.

as for what happened last night. it was something that was bound to happen and we decided that if it is to happen again the result above is what will be decided on.
now because the maps weren't played. the next time that BCC and DC are on those teams and we play conquest maps, the three maps for this match will be used.

Thanks Missile, I agree completely! I was very suprised how many DC team members were unable to show up. I knew ahead of time that I could not attend, so maybe we should have a place like on the new website to post whether we can be there or not....just as a heads up!

Yeah, I agree with Dman with having an area where we can go to notify everyone whether we'll be able to make match nights or not.  And we all know that certain situations come up that do take away from the matches certain nights, but it would be beneficial to everyone else if they knew who wasn't going to be able to make it and whatnot.  Mainly because if we find a week where a number of members of one team can't make it then we could maybe switch around the teams a little bit earlier than match nights.  I think a few people were upset on Tuesday night as Team BCC took the time to practice the maps together and develop a bit of a strategy so switching teams or match night pretty much would have screwed the whole strategy over.  But I guess that's my input on this issue.  Match nights are about fun, and I know sometimes, some people can't make it, but everyone has to take into account that the members who do show up are also taking time out of their days (maybe even scheduling around match nights) also. 

On a lighter note, I've really enjoyed these match nights, and Battlefield is starting to grow on me.  It's been a while since I turned on my PS2.

i mentioned to Drinkin today that maybe if just in the post that i make for the match, that you post if you're not going to be able to make it. (only if you can't) i think that would work!

I got to get my two cents in after reading Barnstormer's post.
Lets start with.. I caught my self thinking of playing DC on a normal non match night! (shook it off and went and played UT2k4.)
I do book off my match nights.
If there is a signe up area, then mark be down permanently as NOT able to make it. And if I show up, good.
The practice part and getting upset about it, I understand. It's hard to make a social fun game non competative, considering competition is in all our blood.

I'm just here as to play and thats it most ppl know that i suck hard core on this game lol, I admit it.  This game really ticks me off, but i still play.  Like Bonerak has said,  "(shook it off and went and played UT2k4.)"   Well im with him on this one.. I will pay to play for  now but not for long...
