Match for Mar 15th & Mar 22th

Hey Guys,
the Team capt. have decded that we will not be having any matches till after the LAN.
Sorry for any inconvience. instead of the matches. we will be having fun nights on tues & thurs.
We feel that this will add to the excitement for the LAN.
the server will be up and running still so feel free to catch the action nightly on the server!

Thanks for your cooperation. I will see you all at the LAN!

Personally, I think that's lame.  We just had a couple of guys sign up, and are looking forward to playing some competative matches.  I'm a little bummed that no stats will be logged, and the competition always seems a little better on match nights.  Just my opinion though.

can't we still run the regular match nights, and if one team is short players borrow a couple for the night?

I realize some people are wanting a break, but I'd be intersted in still playing matches for the next 2 weeks

I kinda agree i think that the matches should go ( dont matter to me anyway as the connection is the problem, but still gets me some time against other ppl not bots)...The lan party is where so far that i can take full advantage of battlefield and teamspeak, but i think that the match nights should be a go...

its a tough call on what to do...i mean i enjoy the match nights since its more structured, but the fun nights aren't so serious as sometimes I feel that match nights are becoming too serious for me.  But I might be in the minority since sometimes the most fun I have during match nights is in between maps chatting it up with Team BCC.  Break or not, I am still gonna be pumped about the lan, I mean having Drinkin and Missile in the same room playing BF, you know that's gonna be a good time! 

OT: I can't believe the Raptors lost to Atlanta at home...it snapped a 23 game road losing streak for the Hawks...man that's depressing.

Hmmmmm, not cool! We all pay to play on the server and because a few people don't want to be over-stimulated by BF the others have to sit out. I think this SUCKS!!! I can play for free on any server and now what I have $$$paid$$$ for is cancelled? If this is the case we should get a free month or something!?! (heheh, yeah right, if thats not a logistical nightmare!)

My point is this, If people don't wanna spoil the LAN, then fine. Don't play on the competitive nights. Stay home and play with your teddy bears or watch TV. Don't take away the fun for the rest of us.

I agree with GOLITAH on this.  There are a few people who play the BCC vs DC CLAN that aren't coming to the LAN.  eg. GOLTIAH in B.C., Howdy Duty in California.  I think we should play our match nights and balance teams if we have too.  That way everyone who wants to get what they paid for - can.  If you don't want to play, take a break.  It's all good.

ATTENTION!!!

After having a talk with Fujitsu, Missileman and BinDrinkin today, we have decided to go ahead and have our regular matches over the next couple of weeks.  This is only fair for those who've payed to play.  The change is that the next two match nights will both be played on Tuesday nights  March 15 & 22 instead of the 24th.  This will make a few days between the match and the LAN for those that are planning to attend.

There will also be some major team swapping going on for the next couple of matches.  Missileman has more details that he should be posting in the next day or two.

Again, regular matches will be on March 15 & 22.  See you there!!

I'm in on the 15th for sure, and I'm working with my scheduling manager to make sure I'm available all match nights from now on.

Just need a little clarification on why the 24th match has been moved to the 22nd?  Usually it wouldn't matter to me, however I was able to make the 24th, but I can't make the 22nd.

We're moving the match to the 22nd so that we don't have a serious match 2 days before the LAN (a 12 hour match).  There will still be "fun night" on the 24th though.  This is kind of a compromise to cancelling the matches altogether.  I think we may even be able to twist Nicao's arm and get him to play on the 15th.
