LG has beaten Google to the punch with the launch of the first Android Nougat device. While you can get updates for your Nexus 5X, 6 and 6P and run Nougat already, the V20 from LG will be the first phone shipped with Android 7 pre-installed. This may not seem like a big deal, but this marks the end of an era. Google has always launched their devices with the newest version of Android first.

LG today announced the V20, the first phone that will run Android 7.0 Nougat coming out of the box. The device is the successor to the V10, which made headlines for its secondary always-on display. One of the big new features in the V20 is what LG is calling 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC. Combined with support for lossless formats such as FLAC, DSD, AIFF and ALAC, the firm promises best-in-class audio quality with any pair of headphones.
